1. Are the tags handcrafted and custom-made?
Yes, each tag is carefully handcrafted and custom-made by me.
2. How many letters can fit on a tag?
Tags with a leather backing can accommodate names up to 7 letters long. Tags without leather backing can fit names up to 8 letters. Shorter names tend to look more balanced, so feel free to reach out if you're unsure.
3. Can I make other customizations?
Currently, I do not offer any customization options.
4. What kind of leather do you use for the backing?
I use only vegetable-tanned, natural full-grain Dossett leather, which I source from Europe.
5. What is vegetable tanned leather?
Vegetable-tanned leather is a type of leather that is tanned using natural plant-based tannins instead of synthetic chemicals. It's one of the oldest and most traditional methods of tanning leather, and it gives the leather distinct qualities.
6. How thick is the leather?
The leather thickness ranges from approximately 2.1mm to 2.5mm.
7. What metals do you use and what is the thickness of the metal tags?
I use copper and brass for the tags, which are about 1mm thick.
8. Are the tags water-proof?
The tags are coated with a water-resistant finish, but I do not recommend exposing them to salt water (such as at the beach).
9. Is there anything else I should know?
Brass and copper naturally age and develop patina over time. Although the tags are coated to slow aging, some discoloration or color changes may still occur. Returns or refunds due to natural aging effects will not be accepted. All hand-crafted and custom-made products are final sale and non-refundable under Australian Consumer Law.
Orders - What do you need to know?
1. Do you make the tags the day I order?
I process orders collected until Thursday at 6 PM AEST each week. Crafting typically takes 5–6 days, so your tags will usually be ready for dispatch by the following Wednesday, assuming payment has been received. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location.
2. Why does the website sometimes show items as sold out or unavailable?
I limit crafting to 20 tags per week. Once these slots are filled, the item will temporarily show as sold out or unavailable until the next crafting cycle the following week.
3. Are there any restrictions on how many tags I can purchase?
Yes, you may order up to 2 items per purchase.
Shipping - What do you need to know?
1. Which postal service do you use?
I use Australia Post for both domestic and international shipping.
2. Can I track my parcel?
Yes! All parcels shipped via Australia Post are trackable. You’ll receive an email with a tracking link once your order ships.

4. Why is internationally shipping so expensive?
Good question! The prices are set by Australia Post. They pretty much have a monopoly here in Australia, with very few reliable competitors — and those are usually just as expensive. So basically, they can charge whatever they want.
